I'm a single mum of four, and Our Milestone Threads was born from a promise I made when life was at its hardest.

After escaping domestic violence while 27 weeks pregnant, I left everything behind — with three children, a dog, and the will to create something better. Thanks to friends and family who gave us shelter, I was able to start again.

In those quiet moments of rebuilding, I knew I wanted to create something meaningful. Something joyful. Something my children could be proud of — and one day carry on.

Every design is inspired by real moments, real laughs, and the incredible bond between parent and child. It’s more than clothing. It’s our story in thread — and maybe a little bit of yours too.

💌 A Letter from the Founder

Hi there,

I’m so glad you found us — and I want to personally welcome you to Our Milestone Threads.

This little brand was born from one of the hardest chapters of my life. I’m a single mum of four beautiful kids. A few years ago, I made the decision to leave an abusive situation — walking away from everything I’d built, while 27 weeks pregnant, with three kids, a dog, and nothing but a promise to them:

I will rebuild. I will create something joyful. I will make sure you never go without again.

Thanks to some incredible friends and cousins who gave us couches, farmhouses, and safety when we had nowhere else to go, I was able to start again — with nothing but creativity, determination, and a whole lot of love for my kids.

But through that journey, I learned something crucial: laughter, love, celebration, and connection are the most important things we can share with those we love. After living in a state of survival for so long, I lost the ability to feel joy, and it took time to reclaim it. And for my children, it felt like they missed out on those moments of happiness and special celebrations for a year or two.

That’s why Our Milestone Threads exists — to bring joy, laughter, and love to families, to make kids feel special in their milestones, and to help others celebrate the good times, no matter how small. Every design is created to bring a smile, spark a laugh, or help announce a new chapter in life.
